Set in the mid-1980s, this two-character play involves an egotistical Chicago actors growth and struggle as he deals with a dancer he made pregnant This is a very entertaining play about how people manage to take care of each other when life seems impossible to get through. I could not help caring about these two characters or wondering what was going to happen next Jack (Paul Singleton) is a moderately successful actor with a tremendous ego. He carries all the trappings of a man who is so close to success that he can smell it, but not touch it. He used grand language to express common occurrences and never simply walks into a room but enters it Mr. Singleton is splendid as the brash actor and does the impossible of making the character of Jack likable. – New York Casting |
